Willem Wilminkplein 2
Solid Blake plays a prominent role in Copenhagen's emerging underground techno community. Together with Courtesy and Mama Snake she formed Apeiron Crew, a DJ collective renowned for their intense techno and gritty electro sound. Now she’s embarked on a journey as a solo artist with releases on Outer Zone and Modeselektion. The ‘Mario’ EP, showcases her undeniable talent as a producer and features a remix from Underground Resistance and Drexcyia affiliate DJ Stingray.
Those who've seen Solid Blake at Dekmantel Festival or in De School this year know she's the perfect fit to take on the closing of this year's night program. Her mix of fast modern techno and classic electro is going to be a crazy ride.
NIKI ISTREFI (Live)
Niki Istrefi offers a bleak insight in the 21st century with pounding industrial beats and nervous harmonics - brutally honest music striving to transcend the anonymous aesthetic of most modern techno. The Copenhagen based producer is one of the founders of the already notorious Euromantic imprint. Listening to Niki's debut EP you could only imagine they have Berlin's dark, sweaty and hedonism fuelled basements in mind - and the blistering 140 BPM onslaught of "Red Armor" no doubt gives you a feel for that. His live show takes hypnotic techno to new depths: albeit in a very violent and degraded format. This really isn't for the faint hearted.
BRUTUZZ & DJ+
These Amsterdam based DJ's are no strangers in the Dutch scene anymore. Both came up in the early 00's during the golden days of underground dubstep. But times have changed. Brutuzz is now the resident of Dave Clarke's electro night 'Whip It', and DJ+ a connaisseur of weirder electronic music and very dubby techno at Red Light Radio.
Even though the two have known each other since the early dubstep days and its illegal raves, they've saved their first b2b session for this special occasion. We're very curious to hear what kind of outer space electro and idm they'll bring to the GOGBOT x Pikzwart night. If we're lucky they might even throw in some industrial hardcore inbetween.
Jasmín is a DJ, radio host, and music journalist from the east of the Netherlands. Her roots lay in Enschede as part of the Pikzwart collective, but she has made her way to the dance floors and radio stations of her hometown Amsterdam and other cities like Utrecht, The Hague, Deventer, and Rotterdam. She hosts her own radio show on Utrecht's Stranded FM. Her sets shift from raw house to industrial techno to spaced-out ambient to electro and beyond, yet her selections tend to stay on the darker side of the sound spectrum. Expect the unexpected during her set at the GOGBOT x Pikzwart night.
Marco Đakić, Jerry Rog and Daan Siebum brought a new vibe of underground quality to Twente's techno scene. Their foggy Pikzwart parties quickly got notorious for all the sweat and raw energy on the dance floor. When they play b2b2b together you're up for an exciting sound, without musical boundaries, always moving towards a relentless peak.
This has proven to be the perfect match for a collaboration with GOGBOT. Acts like Perc, Objekt, Kobosil, Shed and Matrixxman have played GOGBOT x Pikzwart in the past. Now it's time for the fourth edition and with Solid Blake and Niki Istrefi they've brought in two artists from Copenhagen's emerging electronic music scene, known for pushing the boundaries of techno.
