Lauringer
I am Lauringer and I play Road Pop. Life feels much like a very chaotic road trip without a concrete destination to me, an endless sequence of making the wrong turns just to end up at the rightest of places. And on this journey, I have all the deep thoughts about life and make memories out of moments, welcoming everybody to join the trip. This is what I try to process in my music. I let the emotions drive the van. I like the idea of showing that we’re all on the same road after all, with all our hopes and insecurities and failures and successes. I do not like to make decisions and much prefer to let things happen. This is why you will not find me focusing on a specific style, it’s much more the song choosing its sound. I really like to balance between flaky pop tracks, melancholic country-folk or feel-good indie. If the result is something you’d love to hear on a car ride with your friends through a dry desert or the shiny city lights of your hometown, then all my wishes came true.
Winwel
WinWel is een 19 jarige muziekproducer die dromerige en tegelijkertijd energieke elektronische muziek maakt richting de genres Future Bass & Trap, die hij combineert met zijn passie voor Minimalistische Pianomuziek. Hierdoor werken zijn nummers zowel goed op de dansvloer als thuis of onderweg.
Door middel van Elektronische Live Sets combineert WinWel zijn skills als pianist en drummer met zijn eigen muziek. Dit gaat hand in hand met unieke, sfeervolle en gesynchroniseerde visuals en feature vocalisten die zorgen voor een meer dan toffe beleving.
Met remixes van o.a. Jeangu Macrooy, shows bij Metropool en Booster Festival en actieve samenwerkingen met andere muziekproducers als Snareskin en SoundPatrol is WinWel onderhand naam aan het maken in de elektronische muziekwereld.
Among the Chaos
In opdracht van Gitaarfestival Twente schreef Ruben Verkerke een half uur durend gitaarconcert voor elektrisch gitaar. Hij is de eerste binnen een nieuw jaarlijks project waarin conservatoriumstudenten gevraagd worden om een out-of-the-box compositie te schrijven.
“Ik mocht alleen maar de gitaar gebruiken, wat een uitdaging! Mijn inspiratie heb ik gezocht in foto’s gemaakt door de Hubble Telescoop. Ik wilde de verschillende kleuren van deze foto’s terug laten komen in het stuk.”
ZEHRA
The bass thunders through your body and the synths paint your world dark-blue. You’ve entered the electronic minefield that is, ZEHRA. The lines between live and sequencer start to fade as ZEHRA redefines what it means to blend traditional popsongs with electronic music.
