The Brother Brothers

Vorig jaar gooiden The Secret Sisters hoge ogen op Heartland en het zal ons niks verbazen wanneer dat dit jaar gaat gebeuren met The Brother Brothers. Broers inderdaad, sterker nog, identieke tweelingen. Hun debuut ‘Some People I Know’ is vers van de pers en bij de eerste beluistering ligt een vergelijking met Simon & Garfunkel voor de hand, maar dan minder folk en meer country en bluegrass. Ze begeleiden zichzelf op gitaar, fiddle en cello en dat levert hele mooie liedjes op.

David and Adam Moss hebben er een plaat vol mee geschreven. Het album is het logische vervolg op de eveneens zeer goed ontvangen Tugboats EP en we weten zeker dat de tweeling veel nieuwe fans zal vinden op Heartland 2019.
